Joker Poker (Balatro Remade)

I am recreating LocalThunk's GOTY-winning game Balatro in order to practice game development, because it's become my favorite game of all time, and figured it would be a fun exercise. I am fascinated by the visuals, the math, and the whole thing, so this is just a fun way to get me to make games. Obviously, all credit goes to LocalThunk, I will not accept any profit for this game, and use no assets from LocalThunk/Balatro.

Current Status:
The UI is largely ready for the basics (playing cards, drawing cards, sorting hand). There's no gameplay evaluation or actual UI -- I'm working on the actual scoring now! The current state of the game is downloadable to mess around with. If anyone somehow happened upon this page, you can give me some tips!
